I dont always get to go out on a week night, but sometimes it's for a great cause. Earlier this month I went to the 5th annual Habitat House Party held at one of Chicago's premier night clubs. A hot summer night in Chicago calls for one thing, a paradie palm tree patterned cocktail dress. This is one of my favorite dresses in my closet, and reminds me of an island vaccation. Because the print is large I chose to keep my accessories simple but fun.
My Jewelry for the night is mostly mine but the necklace is from Rockbox, and the single ice cream cone earring in my left ear is also from Rockbox. I love how simple the pieces are but provide the prefect amount of bling to the outfit. In my left ear I went daring going with a two-tone cuff earring to add that element of wow to the look. The clutch is one of my favorite accessories "Kindness Is Always Stylish" and we need a little more kindness these days.
The 5th Annual #HabitatHouseParty returned to celebrity hot spot The Underground Chicago! All the proceeds from this year's event were donated to Habitat for Humanity in Chicago and South America.
Rockit Ranch Productions and The Underground proudly sponsored the entire event- along with EFFEN Vodka, DJ Chris Vlajcic and DJ Ron Caroll sponsoring the event as well. if you haven't had the food or checked out The Underground Chicago for yourself you should!
