On a beautiful spring day, the family took a day trip up to Lake Geneva, WI. It's such a beautiful place with great places to eat, historical hotels and gorgeous views. And because it was such a great family day I wore my favorite dress for a spring day. Spring in the Midwest is a fickle thing, it's breezy and temperature can drop from hour to hour, haha. 

This dress is the perfect combination of so many individual pieces, the boho detailing paired with the deep red color and the sheer material makes this dress a masterpiece. I also love the length and the drop waist, it's great for a family afternoon or you can dress it up for a night out with the girls. 

I paired the dress with a denim jacket, open-toe lace-up heels, and a black wristlet.  I love to keep my day looks simple with a stud earring, hair in a top-knot and my signature red lipstick. Simple can be chic and this look is chic.
